I have just viewed a story featured on ABC’S Landline yesterday, and I think many of you would enjoy watching it. The story comes with a warning due to the emanciated state of the horses that were rescued, however overall it will leave you feeling good.
The story features Sarah McCarthy and a small community of people within Mudgee, NSW, and their mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome a herd of horses abandoned and struggling from the recent bushfires, and ongoing drought. Be sure to catch the episode on ABC iview, and skip to just before the 30 min marker if you wish to just watch this story.
I think what people like Sarah McCarthy are trying to do for the national welfare of horses in this country into the future, is to be commended!
