This time last year, the legend that is Winx had raced and won her last race at Royal Randwick, and was now looking ahead to her next chapter in life. In her first year after racing, she has enjoyed a well deserved spell as a paddock horse, and then started the journey of becoming a broodmare, during last year’s breeding season. Winx is pregnant to I Am Invincible, and is due to foal in mid- October. Can’t wait for this arrival!
Normally Easter sees me participating in the annual Easter Egg Hunt, but this year I had to settle for hunting for my horse’s missing fly mask in the paddock instead. Luckily I was able to win that hunt. I hope you all managed to enjoy a lovely Easter with what ever family and/or friends you could, and you all keep on loving your equines just that little bit extra at the moment.
