It’s been a while since I wrote from the heart, and I have been thinking about my horses a lot lately, and just how many levels of meaning I get from them.
I am sure many of you can relate to having your commitment to horses questioned, or your sheer love for horses questioned when you are going to as many means as possible to keep them healthy and happy, despite what you yourself may have to sacrafice. This is so so true for me.
My horses have sentimental, professional, spiritual and soul deep meaning to me. My Pop was a Drover/Saddler/Horseman, so horses just run through me in my blood, and Pop helped me pick my old girl as my 2nd horse. Pop also taught me how to tune into my horse sense, and how to use it best to communicate with horses to get the best from them.
I have loved and still love horses that much that I studied horses, and continue to build my knowledge and experience with horses on a professional level. Looking after my golden oldies, helps me to build experience and knowledge every day in what we have to take on together to maintain health and happiness in their old age.
Horses have an amazing energy about them, and my particular horses help to keep me calm and level headed. We tend to have a very symbiotic relationship, and horses understand and communicate in energy.
My horses have been my ever constant in my life to date. No matter what I have gone through, they have always stayed loyal and loving. They have got me through a lot!!
So many levels of meaning, on the surface, tangible in my life, and right down to my soul. I am sure there are a few of you that can relate to this, so please know how much I understand and how much I am passionate about helping others to live their horse stories and dreams.
